Triathlon News backs Lactate Pro28/06/2002
Triathlon News stated "The lactate analyser market in Australia has recently been significantly improved with the addition of the Lactate Pro. It has a number of features, which set it apart from its competitors and make it ideal to be used by the triathlon market.
The Lactate Pro is the size of a credit card and weighs only 50g. It very quickly measures lactate (60 seconds) with a very small sample of blood (5ul), and in our tests has been importantly not affected by fluctuating weather conditions (wind or sun).
It has been used extensively by the Sports Scientists at the Australian Institute of Sport in their monitoring of in particular the Australian swimming, cycling and triathlon teams.
Additionally, recent comparisons and reliability studiesw originating from the AIS support the Lactate Pro as a valid and reliable instrument in the field within the range of 1-18mM."
